Good book, but would like more info.

Another good book by George Ilian. Most of the information in this book I already knew. The best feature of this book was the succint way the author would sum up the life and business lessons to be learned. For instance, when the author tells us about NeXT and how Jobs wasn't satisfied with the first version he decided less than a year later to redo it and he made it better. The life lesson to be learned on this one is "Lesson No. 24: If you are not satisfied with what you have made, do it again. And this time do it better. "
To me these little one and two liner statements make the book. I would have given this 4 stars except that I would have liked a little more detail on Jobs' life and therefore more Life and Business lessons. This is a good quick read and gives you the cliff notes version of Steve Jobs' life and sums up each section with a life and/or business lesson. I would recommend this book.

A brilliant book about a brilliant man

Most people have heard of Steve Jobs and at least know that he was the CEO of Apple, however for a lot of people that's pretty much all they know. This book gives and overview of his life, but it is not a simple biography, instead the book looks at what we can learn from Steven Jobs' life and work. Steve Jobs also co-founded and was CEO of Pixar Animation Studios up until it was sold to Disney, played a role in introducing one of the first mass produced laser printers to the world and of course was one of the people behind the iPhone, Ipad products etc. Steve Jobs had a knack for knowing what people wanted even when they did not know it, he introduced new products and got the world hyped up and is definitely one of the main reasons the iPhone was so successful along with Apples future products.
A brilliant book about a brilliant man and the lessons we can learn from him. A very interesting and worth while read.

Insightful, inspiring, entertaining and with plenty of business lessons and anecdotes to learn from, '50 Life and Business Lessons from Steve Jobs' is ultimately a must read for any budding entrepreneurs or those whom are simply fans of one of the most influential pioneering tech minds to have ever lived. One of the main traits of this book that I admire is how the author includes lessons that regard not only professional life, but also personal life; an example that demonstrates this perfectly is "'Lesson No. 44: Live your life to the full, personally and professionally because no one ever knows how long they have on earth.".. It just goes to show that Steve had much more than just business and technological wisdom to share!
